Hagnaðurinn situr ekki ráðalaus í atvinnuleit sinni!!!

Ég er búinn að vera svakalega busy í morgun ... það er bara eins og sjálfur Porno Paul sé á svæðinu, slíkur er hamagangurinn. Sko, núna er ég búinn að sækja um hjá sjö (7) fyrirtækjum. Lítum á hvað er í gangi hjá Hagnaðinum.

1) Fór inná heimasíðu Lidsauka og sótti þar um starf sem fjármálastjóri hjá Dímon.

2) Heimsótti Mannafl og þar sótti ég um stöðu sem ráðgjafi hjá IMG.

3) Svo var það Mannval sem voru að auglýsa stöðu við bókhald hjá einhverju fyrirtæki sem eru í einhverjum hátæknibransa.

4) Stra voru að auglýsa stöðu sölufulltrúa hjá tölvuvöruverslun.

5) Svo var ég náttúrulega búinn að sækja um stöðu tryggingaráðgjafa hjá Samlíf.

6) Ég sendi inn umsókn til Pharmaco. Engin sérstök staða svo sem. Bara svona almenn umsókn. Hver hefur ekki þörf á eins og einum Hagnaði?

7) Að lokum er það Eimskip. Þar eru einhver járn í eldinum og verið að kanna einhver mál.

Westmann Island tomorrow!!!

It’s time again to go into an airplane again… and tomorrow there will be exactly 13 days since I left JFK airport in New York (a trip that wasn’t very fun at all… more on that later).

My club team is playing against IBV in the Telephone league.

This is going to be the first game I play for almost a year, or since I came home last year and played on September the 9th. What a trip that was… flying back to Myrtle Beach on the morning of the 11th from Washington D.C.

Just a little bit about Westmann Island. There will be a huge party/festival/reason-for-getting-drunk-get-together that starts this coming Thursday. More on that on this page….Best party in the world according to some people

Anyway, Any rate, Annie. There will be more about the game later, because you see, I don’t really know what’s gonna happen… I can’t see the future… even though I once saw the Back To The Future car.

Vestmannaeyjar á morgun!!!

Þá er komið að því að fara aftur í flugvél... en það verða einmitt einhverjir 13 dagar á morgun frá því að ég flaug heim frá John F. Kennedy flugvelli í New York (sú ferð var reyndar ekki hressandi mjög ... mun koma betur inná það í pistli hér síðar).

Það er sem sagt leikur á móti Í.B.V. á morgun í símadeildinni... ég ætti nú bara að spila í Tal-deildinni eftir að hafa keypt mér síma þar í dag. Sorry Sími... kannski seinna !!!

Þetta mun verða fyrsti leikurinn minn í sumar og í rauninni fyrsti leikur hjá mér síðan ég spilaði á móti F.H. þann 9.september í fyrra. Vonandi spyrni ég knettinum á milli fóta einhvers leikmanns og við vinnum leikinn.

Meira hef ég eiginlega ekki að segja um þennan leik fyrr en hann verður búinn því ég sé ekki FRAMtíðina ... ömurlegt? Eh... Sorry, þetta voru skipulögð Hrannars ömurlegheit.

How many languages can a child learn? As many as you will take the time to teach them.

Don't say, "If I could, I would." Say, "If I can, I will."

We generally change ourselves for one of two reasons: inspiration or desperation.

I used to say, "I sure hope things will change." Then I learned that the only way things are going to change for me is when I change.

If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree.

BECOME A GOOD OBSERVER by Jim Rohn

We must never allow a day to pass without finding the answers to a list of important questions such as: What is going on in our industry? What new challenges are currently facing our government? Our community? Our neighborhood? What are the new breakthroughs, the new opportunities, the new tools and techniques that have recently come to light? Who are the new personalities that are influencing world and local opinion?

We must become good observers and astute evaluators of all that is going on around us. All events affect us, and what affects us leaves an imprint on what we will one day be and how we will one day live.

One of the major reasons why people are not doing well is because they keep trying to get through the day. A more worthy challenge is to try to get from the day. We must become sensitive enough to observe and ponder what is happening around us. Be alert. Be awake. Let life and all of its subtle messages touch us. Often, the most extraordinary opportunities are hidden among the seemingly insignificant events of life. If we do not pay attention to these events, we can easily miss the opportunities.

So be a good observer of both life and the world around you.

Cell phone Yes

I just made an investment in a cell phone. In Iceland it means I’m a man among men (not to be confused with homosexuality). This is Nokia 5210. He is blue. Blue cell phones are cool. I dropped my old cell phone into the toilet… but I’m not sure if this one will survive a drop like that.

I want to give the cell phone a name. But you don’t know any Icelandic names so I don’t care what you think about this all. Ya´ll. But you are welcome to make comments.

Farsími Já

Þá er kallinn bara búinn að fjárfesta í farsíma. Það þýðir víst að nú er ég maður með mönnum (ekki þó í þeirri merkingu að ég sé samkynhneigður). Þetta er sími sem var keyptur hjá Tal. Hann er af gerðinni Nokia 5210. Hann er blár á litinn. Það mun vera töff. Ekki er vitað hvort ég geti misst Hann niður í klósett og Hann lifað það af.
Svona lítur þessi sími út: Ja Ja ... Svona er hann

Eins og glöggir lesendur hafa tekið eftir kalla ég farsímann “Hann”. Ég kýs að gera það ekki mikið lengur og óska ég því eftir tillögum að nafni á farsímanum. Eins og fáir virðast hafa tekið eftir þá er svona dæmi hér að neðan þar sem stendur skýrt og greinilega “comment”. Endilega færið músarbendilinn á þetta orð og sendið inn línu eða tvær. Ég vill hressandi nöfn sem gefa farsímanum eigið líf.

Gervigreind er möguleg. Sjáið bara til.

Golf Update

I decided to play golf today with a friend of mine who graduated from CCU in spring of 2001. His name is Bjarki Stefansson. We played in Hafnarfjordur, which is a very small town close to Reykjavik. It’s not really a town… more like a village.

It was only the third (3) time I play golf in the land of Ice. But what a day it was. The weather was decent… in the high 50s and cloudy… yeah, that’s decent here in the land of Ice… eh. Anyway, let’s look at my accomplishments:
I got my career first birdie (Icel. Fugl)
I played the first nine (9) holes on fifty (50) shots
I played the eighteen (18) on hundred and five (105) shots
I got forty (40) points … whatever that means!!!
These numbers are all career best. I would like to thank God because without Him this wouldn’t have been possible.

Golf Update

Jæja, þá er Hagnaðurinn nýkominn úr ansi hressu golfi. Ég fór með Bjarka Stefánssyni, sem var með mér útí CCU. Spilað var að Setbergi í Hafnarfirði... bærinn sem kemur á eftir Garðabæ er ekið er í áttina að Keflavík og Grindavík og öllum hinum sveitabæjunum.

Það er skemmst frá því að segja að ég spilaði mitt besta golf í sögu lífs míns. Það þýðir þó ei að þetta hafi verið gott golf. Lítum á afrek dagsins:
Ég náði mínum fyrsta fugli (e. Birdie).
Ég spilaði fyrri níu (9) holurnar á fimmtíu (50) höggum.
Ég spilaði átján (18) holurnar á hundrað og fimm (105) höggum.
Ég fékk fjögurtíu ((40) Hvernig skrifar maður eiginlega þessa tölu?) punkta... hvað svo sem það þýðir!!!
Allt eru þetta ný met. Ég vill nota tækifærið og þakka guði fyrir að hafa hjálpað mér. Án Hans hefði þetta ekki verið mögulegt.

Haukur Hagnaður brá sér í bæ þann er kenndur er við Reykjavík helgi þá síðustu sem hér á landi var. Tók hann þá eftir því að menn margir hverjir flestir höfðu farsíma í hendi. Í viðtali á heimasíðu Fótboltafélagsins Fram hafði ég áður auglýst eftir gefins síma, en vegna dræmra viðbragða hef ég ákveðið að fjárfesta í eins og einum farsíma. Haukur Hagnaður vill reyna að vera nútímamaður í framtíðarþjóðfélagi. Þá er málið bara hvar á að versla!!!

Í landi einokunar og viðbjóðs þar sem illa rekin fyrirtæki eins og Flugleiðir og íslensk erfiðleikagreining ráða ríkjum er oft ekki margt til að velja á milli. Samt sem áður hefi ég komið upp með lista af 3 fyrirtækjum. Eitt þeirra heitir Landssíminn, annað heitir Tal, og hið þriðja mun vera Íslandssími. (En þess má geta að í DV í dag er talað um að Íslandssími er að spá í að kaupa Tal fyrir allt að fimm (5) milljarða króna.) Erum við að sjá eitthvað mynstur hér? Einokun á símamarkaði, viðbjóður og annar úrgangur.

Allavega... kæru lesendur... báðir tveir (2). Það er svona comment dæmi hér að neðan, og ég vill að hér hefjist lítil umræða um hvar best sé að kaupa farsíma hér á landi. Vinsamlegast skrifið undir réttu nafni og rökstyðjið mál ykkar. Annars neyðist ég til að vera fascinated.

Jæja, þá er ég aðeins búinn að bæta þessa síðu. Maður er ekki dauður úr öllum æðum þó að maður sé atvinnulaus. Annars er það að frétta af atvinnuleit minni að það mun birtast auglýsing í Dagblaðinu á morgun sem mun vonandi hljóða svona:

“23 ára karlmaður óskar eftir vinnu sem allra fyrst á höfuðborgarsvæðinu. Hef nýlokið prófi í viðskiptafræði við bandarískan háskóla með mjög góðum árangri. Nánast allt kemur til greina. Nánari uppl. í síma 557-1137.”

Ég geri mér grein fyrir að þetta er einkar frumlegt og vonandi eru einhverjir dúdar útí bæ sem slá á þráðinn og bjóða mér einhverja svaka stöðu.

Svo langar mig að benda á að ég er búinn að setja inn svona flottan teljara hérna einhvers staðar. Það vonandi hvetur ykkur til að koma hingað oftar og sjá hvað er virkilega upp.

Einnig er ég búinn að setja upp minn fyrsta link .... og það er ekki inná ómerkari síðu en til strákanna í Sigurrós, sem margir vilja meina að sé besta hljómsveit í heimi. Inná þessari síðu er hægt að fá hafsjó af upplýsingum, sem og lög og myndbönd frá hljómsveitinni.

Að lokum skal geta að ég er búinn að setja upp svona “comment”, þar sem já, fólk getur kommentað á það sem ég hef að segja ... sem er svo sem ekki ýkja merkilegt.

Hello fans from around the world. I just wanted to tell ya´ll about the latest additions on this page. My veins are not all dead even though I am unemployed. Talking about my employment … there will be an ad in the newspaper tomorrow. I’m not gonna translate it for ya´ll because you have done nothing to deserve it. Hopefully some dudes will give me a call tomorrow and offer me a job or something.

I just added a counter to the page … should be here somewhere on the right. It’s very cool… you don’t have to tell me because I just know. This counter will hopefully encourage ya´ll will visit the page more often, because we’re in this together, right?

I also added my first link … to what some say is the best band in the world… Sigurros. It’s a very cool page, and you can find music to download and also some videos. There is an ocean of information. (I just love translating Icelandic phrases into English… they sound so stupid.)

Finally, now you can make comments on what I have to say or somebody else. You know how this works and I’m not gonna explain it.

Jæja krakkar, þá er bara dagur númer tvö (2) runninn upp á þessari heimasíðu já. Ég ætla að reyna að halda mig við þann sið að segja helstu fréttir af ferðum mínum, sem og veðri líðandi stundar. Ég er ennþá atvinnulaus en það stendur allt til bóta. Ég las nýjasta newsletterið frá Jim Rohn (Heimasíðan hans)og hann gaf mér auka styrkt í baráttu minni við hin illu öfl samfélagsins.
Veðrið er ekki til fyrirmyndar. Ég lít út um gluggann og það er 3/4 ský og svona 10 gráður. Vindur er lítill.
